Biography

Yang joined the AIR lab in Fall 2025 as a PhD student. His research focuses on wind and ocean energy prediction with deep learning.

Before joining HKUST, Yang received a BEng in Civil Engineering from Tianjin University, followed by an MSc in Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen).
