Xi Zhong

Biography

Xi joined the AIR Lab as a PhD student in August 2023 and received her PhD in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2026. She is now a postdoctoral researcher co-supervised by Professor Sisi Jian and Professor Jize Zhang. Her research focuses on developing physics-compatible, data-driven frameworks for tropical-cyclone risk assessment.

Xi is a recipient of the RedBird PhD Recruitment Award.
