Biography

Wenjun joined the AIR lab in August 2023. His research focuses on developing AI-empowered natural hazard simulation and forecasting, ranging from tropical cyclones to storm surges.

Wenjun was awarded a BEng in Hydraulic and Hydropower Engineering from Guangxi University. He then went on to receive an MSc in Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
