Tianyu Zhang

Biography

Tianyu joined the AIR lab in August 2023 to undertake his doctoral research. His research focuses on applying machine learning methods to accelerate computationally expensive reliability analysis problems.

Tianyu got his BEng in Civil Engineering from South China University of Technology (Guangzhou, China), where he was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate of the School. He then went on to receive an MSc in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA).

Tianyu is an HKPFS awardee.
