Biography

Yang joined the AIR lab in Fall 2025 as a PhD student. His research focuses on wind and ocean energy prediction with deep learning.

Before joining HKUST, Yang got his BEng in Civil Engineering from Tianjin University, China. He then went on to receive the Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen).
